FAQ
If your pet has died at home, we can either collect them directly from your home or you can bring them to us. Please note that if you are going to bring them to us it is strictly by appointment only.
Ashes will be returned to you, or your vet’s practice, within 4 working days
If your pet is with your vet then we can simply collect them from your vet. Just give us a call to let us know the details and we will take care of the rest. Your vet may even offer to do this for you.
Once your pet has been cremated, their ashes will be available for collection at a time that suits you best. Or we can return your pet’s ashes to the point of collection, whether that is in your home or your vet’s practice (some charges may apply).
If you choose to have the ashes returned in an urn, then they will be inside a ziplock bag within the urn. This is so if you want to change the urn at any point in the future you don’t have to worry about spilling them. Or if the urn is ever damaged the ashes will remain sealed. If you are planning on spreading the ashes, then they will be returned loose inside a scatter tube.
When we collect your pet, a Pet Intake Form with a unique identifier will be completed and assigned to your pet, and a copy given to you. Your pet’s form will remain with them throughout the entire process to prevent any confusion with another pet. Your pet’s form will be then returned to you with the ashes to ensure it corresponds with your own copy. All cremations are individual, so you can be assured that the ashes returned to you are that of your pet’s, and your pet’s alone.
No. If your pet’s cremation cannot be carried out immediately, they will be placed in a chilled room only until their cremation can take place.
